Acomplia (Rimonabant) is a weight loss
pill which was initially approved in the European Union
and which was also used to help people stop smoking,
so it was seen as ideal for obesity patients who also
smoke. However concerns over some patients reacting
to Acomplia with severe depression resulted in the approval
being withdrawn. In the USA the FDA issued an approvable
letter in February 2006 for Acomplia but the French
manufacturer Sanofi-Aventis announced that it was suspending
the new drug application and would be reapplying at
some some stage in the future. However in November 2008
Sanofi-Aventis decided to stop clinical trials / the
marketing of Rimonabant Acomplia.
Until further clinical data is available, we recommend
against Acomplia unless you are 100% sure about possible
side-effects.
Consequently Acomplia may be prohibited in some countries,
so please check our country restrictions fact file.
The pharmacies below do not require you to have a prior

from / to the USA or whether they ship worldwide. Buying
medications over the Internet may not be safe, so we
have introduced a pharmacies
page - if you buy Acomplia via a pharmacy link
on our site, please let us know how good their diet
pills and service they provided were so we can report
your experiences to others.

If you are located in the USA or EU be aware the above
acomplia pharmacy appears to be operating in defiance
of the DEA / FDA (USA) and EMEA (EU). You may agree
with the pharmacies, that Acomplia should be available
on the internet without a prior prescription. But you
should read the relevant data on the DEA
web site and EMEA
site first before buying Acomplia.
